Issac Ndeki Nnko

Issac Ndeki Nnko was born in a village at the foot of Mount Meru in the Arusha region. After attending primary and secondary school, Issack studied at Marangu Teachers College at Kilimanjaro Region in Tanzania. He became a teacher in a primary school where he taught math, science, Swahili, English and the rest of the primary curriculum for 9 years. Then Issack decided to change the direction of his career, and went to Wildlife School to gain knowledge of the country’s wildlife. In addition, he took courses in first aid, environmental protection, wildlife management, and tourism hospitality in order to become a tour guide.

Since then, he has spent the last 15 years working for several tour companies, becoming known for his knowledge and friendliness while conducting safaris. With his eagerness to share his stories and the depth of his experience, he has developed the reputation as a great guide, and is often recommended by previous tourists, as well as with tourists who seek him out for a second safari.

He is married and has two children. Although Issack now lives in nearby Arusha town, where he bought a small piece of land and built his family house, when he is not on safari he goes back to the village of his birth to help his parents and other family members with farming. In his spare time, Issack like sports, reading, sharing ideas, and volunteering in the community villages.
